Biography:
Dr Sandell has extensive knowledge and experience of acute emergency paediatric medicine.
He trained in London and during this time became intertested in Pre-Hospital Paediatrics. He subsequently became involved with JRCALC and the development of the 2006 UK Ambulance Service's Clinical Practice Guidelines.
He has spoken at medical conferences both in the UK and internationally and is an Advanced Paediatric Life Support Course Director.
He has published articles in the "Journal of Pre-hospital and Disaster Medicine" and "Trauma" and contributed to the Department of Health "Spotting The Sick Child" DVD project.
He is currently the paediatric clinical lead for Emergency Medicine and High Dependency Care in Poole Hospital, Dorset.
